From the week commencing 5th October, Kedington Surgery will reopen between the hours of 10:15am and 11:45am every Wednesday morning. This is to allow the collection of prescriptions only and will act as a pick up point, with no access to the Surgery.
Repeat prescriptions can be requested via SystmOnline or by completing a repeat prescription form at the surgery

Suffolk-based 24-hour medical helpline, NHS 111, which can offer help, advice and guidance on urgent medical matters. This means that when the GP surgery is closed and it is not a life-threatening emergency, then call NHS 111. Calls are free and will be answered by a trained health advisor. Sadly, there are many people in the local area who are still affected by the symptoms of Long COVID including:

· And many other symptoms that are linked to an infection of COVID-19
Support is available to people with Long COVID through the NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Long Covid Assessment Service and Citizens Advice local offices in West Suffolk.
To access these services in the first instance, people should contact their GP and ask for a referral to the NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Long Covid Assessment Service. However, there is a lot of advice on symptom management available while they wait for an appointment at Your COVID-19 recovery.
