COVID-19 VACCINATIONS
COMMUNITY TRANSPORT
I am writing to ask if you would be able to get this message out to your parishioners regarding Covid-19 Vaccinations, which I am sure you know are being rolled out across the country. Many of our residents will find it difficult to obtain Covid-19 secure transport to get to the vaccination centres, one of which is in Haverhill.
If you wish to use our service, there will be no registration fee to pay, just the bus fare which is comparable to public transport. We pick up and drop off from house to vaccination centre and back home again. If you could use the information in red to inform your residents that we are able to provide this service to them, that would be great.
We provide Connecting Communities, Community Transport across West Suffolk. We would just like to highlight that our service is available for anyone who is struggling to find transport in order to attend a Covid-19 vaccination appointment.
We will simply charge the normal fare and will waive all other membership fees that we normally charge for our services; we will happily assist as many people as we can.
Our booking line telephone number is 01638 664304 and lines are open Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm.
Our services have operated throughout the pandemic with Covid-19 precautions in place, Driver Screens, restricted occupancy, hand sanitiser, face masks and PPE for when helping those that need additional assistance, where we need to reduce social distancing, e.g., wheelchair passengers.
